All of our courses will be accredited this way going forward.

Our courses include:

  • Wise Guys
  • Police Domestic Abuse Lived Experience Programme
  • Young Hearts
  • Kids Kit

This is welcome news for Future Living Hertford as we strive to deliver training which is both impactful and useful in helping our clients move forward with their lives. All of our courses and programmes offer  an educational yet personal approach and cater to the needs of those who attend. We use real life experience for some of our training, which gives it a personal touch and makes it relatable.

Here is some feedback from  clients who have completed some of our programmes:

The Monica Programme (for female survivors of domestic abuse):

“It’s true when they say your future starts here! The Monica Programme has made me a strong, independent women again with skills to forgive and smile, even on the hardest days.”

“The Monica programme has changed my perspective on things. I have realised there are other people out there who will listen and understand me. I have started opening up to other people in my life too.”

Wise Guys (for male survivors of domestic abuse):

“I have met some wonderful people doing Wise Guys. I have learnt so much and got lots of support from the group. Sharing my inner thoughts really helps and is something I have never done before. I was nervous at first but everyone made it feel ok”

“After completing the programme I’m going back to things I used to enjoy. I never thought I’d get back to normal. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.”

Young Hearts (healthy relationship programme for young people):

“We learnt about consent and respect and why this is important.”

“The programme was fun but I learnt a lot too. I liked using the flash cards and the activities about emotions.”

What is CPD used for

CPD is the ongoing process through which professionals maintain and enhance their knowledge, skills, and competencies throughout their careers. Whilst CPD is mandatory only in some industries such as finance, healthcare, law and others, continuous learning on and for work is part of the natural competence development process for all individuals engaged in any professional activity.
