Thank you to all those people who attended our AGM today – it was truly inspiring listening to Ryan Hart sharing his sad story about family coercive control and where it can lead. An emotional journey for us all alongside Ryan – we thank him for sharing his sadness and a message to all. We can no longer tolerate abusive behaviour from anyone in any form – lets work together to break the cycle of domestic abuse. Remember it isnt about the bruises you can see – its about the ones you can’t see.
On a lighter note the Lord Lieutenant of Hertfordshire and our Patron, Robert Voss CBE commended the charity on its work. Our other speakers were Leslie Royce, parent of one of our clients, Christopher Melluish our Chairman, Sarazh Beazley,
High Sheriff of Hertfordshire and Billie Achilleos.
Billie spoke of the children she had worked with on the summer D2C project and her experiences teaching the children to acquire the skills to make sculptures for the gardens at Vale House. We unveiled the sculptures today – take a look!
