One Stop Shop & Domestic Abuse Support Drop-In. *Resuming from 7th January 2025

We currently operate a new One Stop Shop Drop in Centre on Tuesday’s from 10:00 – 12:00 at our permanent base At Vale House, Hertford. 

This is a place where you can discuss any support you need surrounding domestic abuse and get advice and contact details for service providers.

We provide different types of support to help women, men and children.

We know that domestic abuse affects all family members both as victims and witnesses, which is why we have designed a whole family service around our clients need to help support each family member in their recovery from the trauma of domestic abuse.

All our support is confidential, safe, professional and caring.

Domestic abuse support services

If you think you are currently, or have in the past, suffered in a domestic abuse situation then we are here to help.

Domestic abuse can be defined as:

Any incident or pattern of incidents of controlling, coercive or threatening behaviour, violence or abuse between those aged 16 or over who are or have been intimate partners or family members regardless of gender or sexuality. This can encompass, but is not limited to, the following types of abuse: psychological, physical, sexual, financial and emotional.

If you want to recover from a previous situation you have been in you can join our Monica Programme or Wise Guys where you will receive support and counselling to help you to move on from the past. Or you can drop into our friendly café for some company in a safe place.
