Future Living Hertford recognises that everyone has the right to protection from abuse and to be treated no less favourably than others, regardless of gender, race, disability, sexual orientation, religion/beliefs, pregnancy/maternity and gender reassignment. We will give equal priority to keeping all children and young people safe and we recognise that certain groups of people of all ages may have additional needs due to barriers and discrimination that they may suffer as a consequence, for example, of disability or race inequality.

The charity has a policy of ensuring that everyone, regardless of age, is listened to and treated with respect.
